Term 1 "Creative Kids" art classes (8-12 years)
Mondays, 3.15 - 4.15pm, Untitled Gallery + Studio, Coconut Grove, Darwin
Creative Kids classes explore a mix of drawing, painting and sculpture projects, exposing children to a range of mediums, skills, and technique. Unlock your creativity and experiment with the world of art.
Creative Kids classes experiment with works on paper, canvas, clay, and found objects.
Term 1 dates (mini term - 5 weeks): Monday 3 - 31 March 2025.
Term 1 classes will explore:
Sketching techniques and drawing from life
Introduction to colour mixing - watercolour and acrylic
Painting Top End landscapes

Important info:
Classes are drop-off / pick-up style
Doors open 5 minutes before class starts
Parents and guardians are welcome to pop into the studio at pick-up to see student work
All materials provided
Finished loose work can be taken home at the end of the session, sketchbook can be taken home at the end of term
Students are encouraged to bring a drink bottle and to wear clothes that are suitable for art making (in case of paint splashes!)
