Term 1 "Creative Teens" illustration and art classes (12-16 years)
Mondays, 5.45 - 6.45pm, Untitled Gallery + Studio, Coconut Grove, Darwin
Explore a mix of traditional illustration and art techniques and mediums, including graphite, pen and ink, watercolour, and acrylic.
These classes balance technical skills with experimentation, creative thinking, problem solving, and self-expression. Suitable for beginners and those with intermediate experience.
Term 1 dates (mini term - 4 weeks): Monday 10 - 31 March 2025.
This term will explore:
Sketching with confidence
Introduction to light, shadow, shading, and tone
Drawing from life and from images
Introduction to illustrating the natural world in watercolour

Important info:
Classes are drop-off / pick-up style
Doors open 5 minutes before class starts
Parents and guardians are welcome to pop into the studio at pick-up to see student work
All materials provided
Finished loose work can be taken home at the end of the session, sketchbook can be taken home at the end of term
Students are encouraged to bring a drink bottle and to wear clothes that are suitable for art making (in case of paint splashes!)
